I met Ron the winter of 2003 when I searched for a carpenter/roofer to fix a problem with my roof; a leak in the upstairs bathroom ceiling. After one guy recommended half a roof and another priced a whole roof and others offered the same, Ron actually took a look at the leak. He got up on the roof, located a faulty bit of flashing and temporarily fixed it for the winter. In the spring he returned removing shingles, permanently fixing the problem and replaced the shingles. Everyone else said you could not remove and replace aged shingles but he did it. And the price was utterly reasonable and oh, so less expensive than half a roof or so.
From that first job to subsequent jobs involving shoring up decks, replacing doors and windows, and more, Ron has always exhibited excellent work and work ethics, creative solutions, pricing as promised and has been available to discuss problems. I’ve recommended him several times by word of mouth and will continue to so by any means.
